Finally! Out of the Hotel Edelweiss! Chris and Christian picked me up at 1p on Tuesday 29 April (yipee). I am now in their wonderful home, with my own en-suite. Christian has been cooking amazing food (I didn't realize how much bread and butter I was eating in the hotel). Hoping that helps me get back to my "normal" self. I am still struggling with a stuffy nose, but other than that feel pretty darn good.

View from their balcony. If it were only warm enough to sit out there!
Unfortunately, since I have been free of my room, the weather has turned and is quite overcast (and cold) so the view from their home is obstructed by clouds, but still pretty fabulous.
Wednesday, Chris had to work so Christian entertained me for the day. We drove into Nyon, purchased a rain coat (it was sprinkling and I knew I would need one anyway since I was heading to Holland), wandered around town and down to the lake. Spring is definitely trying it's best to be here (oh the flowers). We didn't let the weather hinder our day. Christian whipped up a salmon lunch (who knew I had my own chef for the day!). Shortly after lunch we started out again, to Nyon and another small village in the area. Dinner out that night in their small village Arzier.
